Strensham Road Surgery is proud to host a Women’s Health Education Day at Cannon Hill Park, and we invite everyone in our community to join us for an empowering, informative day focused on women’s health and well-being. This event is all about raising awareness, fostering health education, and supporting our local community in a welcoming environment.
What to Expect
- Health Talks on Women’s Health: Gain valuable insights into women’s health, particularly on menopause, from our dedicated GPs and healthcare professionals.
- Free Mini Health Checks: Stop by for blood pressure and blood sugar level checks provided by our caring nursing team and volunteers.
- Personalized Health Advice: Speak directly with our healthcare team, including our dietitian and physiotherapist, to get advice on healthy living, diet, and exercise.
Event Activities
- 9:00 AM: Welcome and Introduction
- 9:15 AM – 12:00 PM:
- Health Check Stations: Free BP and sugar level testing.
- Q&A Booths: Ask our experts questions about menopause and other health concerns.
- Health Advice Booths: Learn about diet, exercise, and self-care.
- 9:00 AM: Park Run: Join our staff or cheer us on as we participate in the Cannon Hill Park Run to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
